Went back today to the park I found the transit token and Franklin Half yesterday. That park is full of canslaw and pull tabs, but there ARE good things to be found with a lot of patience. Some areas have lots of fill dirt too. I love when I can find a nice patch of that old, dark, rich soil. You know what I'm talking about? Almost black, with a lot of roots. Today didn't disappoint. Found another transit token, 1952 rosie, silver ring, and this spectacular skeleton key! I was so happy to dig it. I've always wanted a big, intact key like this. It was deep and not a solid signal at all. Regardless, I'm really impressed with the 6 inch coil. Granted, It was a large target and bounced all over the place, but that little coil told me it was there. Full depth meter. It was repeatable from all angles, but the ID bounced all over from 15 to 24 or so.
I feel a little sheepish posting this with all the Seated Halves being posted, but this key made me smile! Thanks for looking.
Edit: The key says NORWALK LOCK CO
