Wife found this in a bag of stuff she bought a yard sale. I've tried Google and google image and have asked friends. No luck. Can anyone help figure out what this is? Thank you

I think those are whiskey stones that you put into the freezer and use to cool drinks (often alcoholic) without diluting them with melting ice.

I know T-Man. I had know clue at all. I thought that the one time I got drunk for 14 years I thought I would know everything about alcohol. Guess not.

I use stainless steel "stones" now and then. If you want your good sipping whiskey cold but not diluted with ice, that is the way to go.

At 1 1/8th inch diameter, they remind me of rock cores taken with a small core drill. Then someone cut them into these disks. KT is pretty certain that the granite id is correct. Certainly would make a unique gift to a drinking buddy!
