Hey all, this was found about a half hour from South Lake Tahoe. The large one is about 3 to 4 inches long. They are hard and not pliable. Did I finally strike it rich?

sorry to say it looks like melted pop/beer cans. i don't know why people insist on throwing them into a campfire, but you've found the end result after it melts. :(

Depends on your definition of rich. Aluminum scrap has value too....

Pete is right : Molten can nuggets. We find them all the time @ on the beach. D/t people tossing their cans into their beach bon-fires. And they can be deceivingly heavy, leading you to *think* they're not aluminum. Because it is no longer thin-pressed, it's not the "aluminum" weight we all associate with aluminum.
