Show me your injuns

I got two the other day, which is only the second time I ever have done, 1900 and 1906.

Nice saves Anthony!

These came from the old train station in East Thompson Connecticut

The date on the undamaged one is the same year as the famous train accident.

This has been my slowest year for injuns in over 5 years.
Luckily, I found another one yesterday.
Two crusty wheaties to go with it.
Happy Hunting Everybody!

I do love IHPs, don't find a lot around here. My only other in 2022 was a toasted no date IHP from a farm field.

But a new property changed that and I found 3 Indians during August. All 3 1906 and all in nice condition with a nice patina. The first 2 were within a few feet of each other on the same day and the other was over 300 ft away on the other side of the property. The houses that are about to be torn down weren't built until 1920 so I suspect these date from before the houses as the property is on a main road.

I found three in one hunt last week, super happy.
The 1872 is a key date, might be worth $50:D

In my part of the country I'm fortunate to find a dozen or so Ihps a year. Sadly many of them don't hold up very well in our soil. This particular one is the nicest and my second oldest Ihp. It was a one wiper. Also found an 1864 Ihp, not as nice and a pretty nice LC. In that same yard I dug my first and only seated silver, an AU 1888 Seated quarter. That was in Dec. of last year. Will try to add more pics of some of my nicer Ihps.
