Thanks aviationgale. The color is similar due to chromium but the crystal form is tourmaline. They do make nice little pendants!

Thanks Dew. With the BH I hunt only in AM and ignore the obvious iron but sometimes it comes through as a midtone. The double beep is a dead giveaway for bobbie pins and other long thin items like nails and wire. I've found a few other jewelry items made with silver wire (including a shark tooth) -- seems to be a popular thing, probably because it's so easy to do.

Don’t see those pendants too often. The Tungsten ring is great. One I found almost took my ears off so I remember them.
