I went back to the field I hunted yesterday and managed a couple buttons ,Round Ball and this Nickle sized coin I am unable to ID..Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You know what, I'm looking at it again, and I don't think I was right on thr first guess. The letters on the obverse don't match up around his nose area. Also behind his hair. Plus you said it was also smaller than the coin in the link. Ill see if I can find a match somewhere. One of my favorite parts about finding old coppers is ID'ing them. Great find again!
 
I think you were right the first guess, I seem to see the sword handle clearly matches in the dug coin photo at between the 1-2 oclock mark if that makes sense. Heck of a find.
