I was clearing out some books from a bookcase this morning that I don't want any more and came across a book that a fellow MTHA club member gave me a while ago, titled "Cleaning and Restoring Coins and Artefacts", published in 1997 (I'm keeping this one). I Googled the author's name and found half a dozen books at Amazon by him (Michael J. Cuddeford). These are UK publications. Below is a link to the six books by him, which he has tied into the metal detecting hobby.
I never really spent any time looking at this one in detail, but there seems to be some very useful stuff here.
