Anyone have any challenges with taking their detector through security in hand luggage ? Canada? Caribbean islands?? Also pinpointer ?
Thank you for any advice.

It if has a li-on battery it cannot go into the checking. I would print the manual to show that the battery cannot be in a check bag but must be in a carryon.

I've traveled with Nox 600 and had no issues. I have heard that someone with an AT Pro was told it had to be checked since the poles can be used as a weapon.

Brought both the AT Pro and Excal II all around the world and never had an issue as carry-on luggage. Might not want to try to bring your lesche through security as a carry-on though... :pirate:

I've flown with everything but the rods in carry on...no issues...

I checked the rods and lesche, since the lesche would most certainly be taken, and the rods could be "weapons" (which is a joke, since I could kill someone with a credit card or pencil...)
