Default First Dig, First Finds, Yes!!!

Garrett Ace 300 came in today. I had to wait all day because it was family time at water park. Got home, put it together, and wanted to detect. Darkness was approaching. I went out with my MD and a flashlight just to see what numbers would pop up. Lot of crazy numbers popping up. Hit a decent number. Had to dig it. Hit another and dig it. One is a beat up 1994 penny beat up. What is the other piece? It has negative numbers on it like a thermometer or part of a tool.

Wow, very cool relic!

More than likely off a older military weapon. Other than that it would have been a fairly specialized gun.

Cool find!

I just can't find one like it online. The small triangle. Yes, it will be kept.

Congrats on your first finds !

Keep that cent in a safe place - you'll enjoy looking at it a few years from now !

My first find right out the the box was a half rotted zinc penny.
But I still got a big thrill out of finding it - I remember saying to myself ...
Wow ... this thing really works !

Good Hunting !
