Back to the Woods Today - 1943 WLH

I went back to the woods in the park today where I did so well last weekend. I spent about 2-1/2 hours out there this afternoon and this weather continues to be amazing, it was sunny and 50 degrees today!

What the heck is up with Wisconsin? The amount of silver I've seen come out of parks in that area is amazing.

Very productive hunt. The soil up there is very gentle on the coins. They all look great.

Such a beautiful coin, I bet that would make a thump hitting the ground, makes you wonder how you could loose something that big. We had such beautiful coins back in the day

I agree - I love the old classic designs because they commemorated ideals, not individuals. IMHO Presidents shouldn't be idolized on our money like Roman emperors.
