Ace, you were 'in the zone' today! Awesome ring count. Congrats on your great hunt. The King would be proud of how you're working that machine! I can hardly wait to see the goods in person on Tue. : ) Good luck on future hunts.
Great looking hunt.... I'm sure there is alot of old gold deeper than the silver so keep cleaning out the shallower stuff and then go over the same spots listening for the deeper whispers.

You have a great spot to hunt there. You will find a lot more goodies there for sure, great hunt!
Well out of anyone I know... YOU would have been thought to own it! So not sure what your best count is, although I'm sure you've had more gold in a day!
Just glad I can finally play on the same playground as the big boys and girls! Thanks all for the kind words and I'll keep you posted as rings get cleaned and on future hunts!

Well the cleaning is complete from this hunt... Finds are as follows:
1 ring marked 10k gold & Sterling
1 ring marked 1/60 10k RGP
4 rings marked Sterling
4 rings unmarked
1 ring disintegrated during cleaning!
2 Rosies
1 Merc
1 Washington
5 Wheaties
And of course... a 1961 10k class ring at 10.7g and a 585 ring at 4.5g with a date of 12-25-60 inscribed! And don't forget the initial trip out with a 14k ring at 7.8g! http://metaldetectingforum.com/showthread.php?t=124250
