So I’m still very new to this. I’ve been detecting since Father’s Day. Just a few questions that I’ve wondered in this time:
I’ve become good a coin shooting(I think that’s the he correct term). I’ve recently received permission to hunt an area known to have confederate soldiers come through during the civil war. Do I keep my detector (bounty hunter tracker IV) setup for how I find coins? Or should I change the settings to find every single piece of something it comes across? I’m basically answering my own question here but I want to find anything and everything I can but is there a way to weed out junk(nails, pop tabs, etc.)?
Lastly, any recommendations/methods on how to clean my finds?
