Just curious... has anyone dug a coin that was in spectacular enough shape or was a rare key date that you submitted it for professional grading? I'd love to see some pictures.

I have a few coins that are very nice (barber dimes) or very old with pretty good detail (1794 penny) that I often think about grading because I wonder how they would grade being "dug" coins. My fear is always that they will grade a much lower value than the high cost of grading.
Ahhh....the dreaded "Environmentally Damaged" or "Cleaned"
Some coins are still worth it and still will sell at some high prices.
For those that really want an extremely rare coin in their collection any version is still better than none at all.
