It was not an exciting or amazing hunt. But it was the first day in over 2 weeks that temps got over 50 degrees. For the last 2 weeks or more we've been in the teens and single digits for temps. And we even got maybe an inch of snow -- looked more like a heavy frost. Nothing exciting. It kept me inside reading books and working puzzles. So I ventured out for my first hunt for 2018! I went to a couple of my usual sites. The grand total take was $2.67 -- $2.45 clad, .05 copper, .16 zinc and one wheat cent -- MY BIRTH YEAR -- 1948 D.
