Default New Living In Puerto Rico, looking for a detector

I am living in Puerto Rico and have been waiting to do some searching for some time now. I am going to purchase a device and I was coming here for advice. I want to spend around $500-$900. I am going to be doing water searches for sure.

Thank you for any advice. I am very grateful for forums like this.

Welcome to the forum Kory. In your price range and in the water, I'd look at the Minelab Equinox 800. Good detector for mineralized sand. Good luck!
