Coinstar Machines

Never heard of a Coin Master. Maybe in Illinois they do not exist? Anyway, I hope the automatic coin counters in the banks do not reject the silver coins. But then again, I would not want to count the silver coins on the same standard as a silver plated coin. Does anyone know where one would turn in their silver coins for its REAL value? 8)
Best place is at a coin show

These are the silver coins I've gotten from coinstar machines this year....so far !

Here is my first coinstar score! The return also had a couple Canadian quarters, a 1989 quarter, and a 1970 penny. I've been checking them for a couple years now with little luck. My wife is a silver magnet though in those machines.

First coinstar find! My three kids and I went to the store earlier today and one of my daughters checked, but nothing. Then just a little while ago my wife had to go back to the store and took my son and he remembered to check it again. In it was $1.70 including a 1963 Rosie:yes:

edit: actually there's more than 1.70 in the pic because he had bought something and the change he got back was mixed in with his finds.

Saw two homeless guys in a fistfight at a Walmart Coinstar the other day.
I avoid those things like the plague, it's like stealing from the needy!

Been awhile but finally scored some silver in a coin star.

WTG, KT is certain that boy was quite excited!:lol:

Who need a metal detector when you have coin star machines LOL. I found more in the last month than the previous 2 or 3 years.
