Hit one of the 40s-50s neighborhoods, in my area, yesterday afternoon. Was able to get over 5 silvers. Don't discount those mid century neighborhoods if you like finding silver. Nothing old, but silver is silver! Also recovered a cool scout pin. I tumbled it last night and it came out really nice. Thanks for taking a look.

EDIT: I looked closer at the scout badge and it has a patent date of 1911. I'm not sure if it's that old though.

Wow! Permissions or curbstrips?

Thanks Iggy. I wandered around, knocked on two doors that had their yards tore up and got permission to search their small, front areas. Did some curbstrips in front of a couple multi unit conversion houses and then a small park that had a couple large trees.

Nice recoveries! A single silver day is a good day for me (especially this year). To get 5 in one day is superb, and you're right, post WWII neighborhoods can be pretty lucrative. I really like the Scout pin. Good stuff!
