Park strip hunt in the old part of town. Silver! And a cool old key. Wish it wasn't bent and broken, but I still like it! Thanks for looking.

I hear ya about the key. I have a brass skeleton key that I absolutely love. No real reason why...i just wonder what it could have been used for, and how it got where I found it. I actually put it on my key ring for a few months and carried it around to polish it up a bit...gave it some clean, bright highlights while leaving the patina in the cracks.

Nice job with the silver, too...never gets old.

I too love seeing the silver in the hole.. also love finding skeleton keys.. Congrats

Beautiful condition on that Merc! The key is really nice too - no worries on the slight bend, just gives it character  The best key I’ve found (in my opinion) is an old “skeleton” variety - pretty ornate, and a wonderful green patina on it, but a distinct banana shape thanks to a bend in the middle. I love it despite the bend
