Hello,
Finally it rained and I can now dig a hole in the ground.
I went several times last week to the golf course and found some neat items.
I took the CTX out just to keep it from rusting. I had a nice 12-45 and dug a very heavy sterling ring but it has been egged, but is still nice.
Found several wheats from the 40's and 50's and a GW Bush library token.
Still finding clad everywhere.
Today I decided to take the Nox 800 to the old church I've been hunting for a while, glad I did.
I am still finding very old shotgun hulls all over the place and they ring up from a nickel to a IHP signal.
I had a solid 12 and dug a 1892 V in good shape but is worn out.
Just a few steps away I had another 12,13 signal but I could only get it one direction, decided to dig. At 7" I saw gold, very small gold. The tiny ring has "BABY" on it and it has tested 14K but is a first gold for the NOX.
HH!

Congrats Les on digging the Gold and Silver Rings. It's been a couple of years since I last dug the yellow. Glad the "Nox" is still doing well for you. Trapper

Nice! And I heard that! It hasn't rained here yet, and digging in dirt is worse than digging in packed road base material.

I can't even pull up beggars' lice without having them break off at ground level.

Nice job; HH!

EDITed out scientific name for beggars' lice, as I am not sure
