I'm thinking an old lawn sprinkler head. Blue golf ball for size reference.
Thanks! O

This one holds my curiosity. It looks like a gas/water/steam fitting of some sort. I'm searching but have yet to find a similar image. I really expected more folks to chime in on this. I'm still rooting for an ID!

Kind of reminds me of an old pilot light.

Would help if you noted if the holes from each direction go through or are ?

It reminds me of the old metal bed frames, post great depression era. The ball part could be where some vertical and horizontal pieces joined. Looks like some parts have been bent on the piece you have.

I agree.
Definitely worth a google search to see if you can find a match.

Additional description:
The base is flat with a threaded hole for a set screw.
The bulb is hollow with the pipe from the base running straight through and out the top.
The curved pipe on the left opens into the side of the bulb.
The pipe on the right opens into the side of the bulb.
The square tubing on the top is hollow but does not open into the curved pipe.
Hope this helps
O
