BUCKET LISTER !!! My sweetest coin ever!!!

Sweet sweet sweet.

Last year I was hunting a similar type of area and pulled out a coin and was shocked to see 1775 on a 2 Reale. I thought I had died and gone to Heaven.

But 6 months later I had gotten permission to search a lot in downtown Fernandina Beach Florida where a restaurant had been razed. Before that an old house had burned. Unbelievable honey hole. Pulled a number of 2 and 3 ringers and musket balls, a pistol, pocketknife, horseshoe, 4 axe heads and wheats, IH, Barber dimes and a quarter, seated dime an 2 half dimes. I believed I had emptied it.

But 2 weeks later 50 feet of sidewalk was taken up and I found another 2 ringer and a 1718 1 Reale. I thought it was fake probably a souvenir bought at a nearby store because it was right at the surface.

Still in shock

Yup, that makes perfect sense ......Incorporated in 1825!!!! I hope to do some sniffing around in that area soon , and hope to come away with at least one silver older than a merc.....
Gonna try a little water hunting too .

Some sensationally sweet Silvers Bob. Those would be dream recovery's for me here in Wisconsin. In all my years detecting these tundra grounds I know of only one Reale ever dug. Huge congrats on some fantastic Coins. Trapper
