Could use a little help here

I found this item a couple of days ago and I’m not sure what I’ve got here. It’s got some weight to it which made me think at first that I had part of a knife or sword. After running it through some electrolysis I no longer think it’s either of those two things. The point on this piece is pretty sharp. I’m leaning on it being part of a barn door hinge, but the arch of the piece confuses me with that possibility. There aren’t any markings on this piece at all. Any help or input is appreciated.

That flat on one side rounded on the other looks like it was made from the outer band that went around an old wood frame wagon wheel.

because of the hole near the point and the shape, I would go with the tail portion of a hand forged strap hinge
