Large Cent #14 FTY EDIT #15 FTY

Went looking for a house on a 1853 map of my area. There was not a lot of flat area for it to be (maybe 15 feet of flat land then it drops down to a creek) and no sight of a foundation or well (maybe used creek for well since it's right there) but I think I found 'er.

#14 FTY don't know what the other roundish thing is. It isn't magnetic and appears to be copper but it's too thick and heavy to be a coin IMO.

Just kidding, You are having a great year D a major congrats on # 14. You keep it up and you'll have Tom puking. Alot of mdrs still looking for # 1. I have been fortunate enough to dig 6 since I've been in the hobby and looking forward to #7. Good luck, Mark

Same here for CA : I've gotten hundreds of reales, but have only managed 2 LC's in over 40 yrs. So now I'm convincing myself: Who needs those pesky stupid LC's anyhow, eh ? :?:

I’ve obsessed over them for years and I have two beautiful 8 reales under my belt and now that I’ve gotten 2 I’ll stick with my Reals those LC come up looking like garbage over here. Lol

I put one in electrolysis my first one looked wiped and electrolysis brought it out To where I can see the Matron head and one cent clearly

Went wandering to try and find 2 places but couldn't find them. Stopped at another spot and found 2 mid 1800 buttons, copper Lincoln (no idea how we got there), and #15 large cent FTY

Yeah the front has decent details and the back isn't too bad. Definitely came out better since it wasn't a field copper! Thanks and same to you!!
