Hunted a local tot lot that used sand as a surface material.
Spent just 25 minutes hunting with a Vanquish 540 (in Jewelry mode), but found 77 cents in clad...not bad, for me at least.
Prize find: my second silver, but my first ever silver war nickel (1943-P). Rang up as a 13.
Observation: hunting sand is so easy compared to soil/clay filled with rusted iron. I was calling almost all my finds like I had x-ray vision!
