Dug this up and not sure what it belongs to. Does anyone have any ideas? My guess is it’s a plug of some sort for fuel.

It’s about 7/8” at its widest, the threads are 5/8” o/d and there is a 3” chain attached. There are 12 holes at the bottom and looks like the top portion might screw off, tried to unscrew by hand only and couldn’t.

Couldn’t find anything online.

Thanks

I agree with you the only thing is when I look up lantern and stove parts or pics the plugs look different. Thanks for answering
That's what I've found too but I know I've seen that in the past. Maybe it's some rare brand.

The small plug should unscrew from the other part. I would think that part would be a filler port.

Smaller knob is closed for travel and opened to vent?

Agree, stove or lamp fuel plug.

I remember as a kid we had an inflatable raft that had what I believe was the exact same plug for the inflator hole. I remember opening the small plug to blow it up by mouth and taking out both to deflate it. Not positive, but it sure looks familiar.

Looks similar to this: https://www.flickr.com/photos/iestynandtrisha/sets/72157624872860825/

Wow it does look a lot like it. It has the holes on the bottom , just the piece with the flange is different. Can’t find anything online about that part other than your pic. Thanks I’ll resource that more.
