I haven't been able to get out detecting for a couple weeks, between work and family. Got out for a few hours today. Found a magnifying glass. Thought I had broken it while digging but the dirt is caked along the breaks in the glass so I think it was already cracked. Found a toy metal airplane. Pieces broken off of it. A caravelle wrist watch. And a Remington shotgun shell piece. I got $3.45 in coins. Didn't think I found any old ones but after going through them at home, I had 1948 and 1955 nickels.
