Any idea what this might have been? Porcelain thats broken off and copper top with loop.

My guess, and I mean GUESS is it looks to be a silver topped stopper of some sort. It looks to be tapered just a tad which would indicate a stopper for a bottle. Cool find.

back in the 80's people used to keep their Nose Candy in little receptacle's like that and hang them from a chain,.. just say'n..

Yes, Socal. Found in a park back to late 1800/early 1900s.

Porcelain is solid, no opening.
