Made it out for 2 hunts over the long weekend and got keepers on both trips.

3 - Philly merc's: 1923, 1928, & 1941

An 1853 large cent was a great surprise. You'll have to trust me that's the date, it was visible in the field after digging it, but after drying out at home its starting to disintegrate.

Hope everyone is getting out

Definitely some solid finds man! Silver has been scarce as of late for me, but I've been digging colonial and older sites. We got to get out before the ground freezes! Good luck in the meantime, and congrats!

Leave it to someone from MA east coast to find merc dimes next to LC's, on an oh-so-typical hunt, eh ? :sissyfight:

Thanks, I got the LC on public property in a section the town just mowed down. Also got a pretty roached out spoon from that time frame I’d guess as well. Ya I’d love to get out again with you guys soon
