 That's the actual title of the article, I didn't even have to make it up

Collector car insurance specialist Hagerty took a look at the rate quote requests it received last year and found that the most common inquiry was for the 1965 Ford Mustang, which topped the list in 21 states. Supply may have something to do with that, as Ford sold over half-a-million of them.

The original pony car was followed by its 1966 edition with 16 states and the 1969 version of the Mustang-rivaling Chevrolet Camaro that was most popular in eight.

The 1967 Camaro, 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air, 1977 Ford F-150, 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle and the-granddaddy-of-them-all 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air filled out the map with one state each.

Nothing like 16 gauge steel. That 22 gauge now leaves an easy dent. And it isnt fun to weld

I keep my eyes open for a 47 Hudson Pickup TerraPlane...and a 59 Caddy of course..Apache pickups etc....

I like ratrods/mods especially......I've looked at $3000 Craigslist Jaguars/BMW's/Mercedes with great bodies and plush interiors...and consider dropping a Corolla engine and front wheel drive train under the hood!

Style and economy! Breeze around town in style cheaply! Nobody would know a diddly damn!

I'd drop a Chrysler Hemi under the hood of a 59 Caddy..that would be cool, better fuel economy, and fast as holy hell!

I think the best thing to do is show up at a car show with a pocket full of money and buy one from somebody who did all the hard work...Or the Barrett Jackson, or something..problem is, I never have a pocket full of money...!

This is why I gave up all my other hobbies, sold all my gear and just metal detect! I dont particularly enjoy it, Its nearly as gay as golf, its hard and frustrating with little promise of a payback like fishing/hunting, but I gotta find that gosh darn money! Hunting empty cans exclusively is not economically viable!!...

Big problem with cars is, seems you cant have anything nice around here...I've tried....somebody be banging into it or stealing it or some damn thing...so yeah..I should find myself a 76 Plymouth Volare wagon, slant 6...best damned car ever! It was a ratrod right in the showroom!

COOL!....Mud's a hot-rodder! So am I, not that this is Fecebook.
I'm still on the lookout for a '55-'60 BMW Isetta 300 that isn't too far gone, that also won't require a thicker checkbook than mine.:( (Have an idea for a street altered based on one.) In the meantime, I'll just have to have fun with my '23 T, powered by Mud's dream car engine.;)(The slant in the Volare wagon.)
