I haven't gotten gold in awhile so I figured I would post a piece of silver. All the lakes here in west Michigan look like the moon. Hunters everywhere! I found what I thought was gold because it sounded like junk in all metal mode. Nope, .925 with some small diamond chips. Also, about a week ago found a Pandora bracelet that is .925 with a couple of beads with gold on them.

Hey thats a nice Pandora! Did your Wife claim it?...I dont know for sure, but I think each one of those beads goes for upwards of $25?

We need some wind here to blow off some overburden and get the gold exposed in a big stretch...not just the little pockets, but a nice big rip!

Yep, diamonds in silver, tungsten and titanium now. Probably coming to stainless steel if not already there. Diamonds are worthless. Especially smaller ones. One company controls that.

Congrats on the silver.

Indeed! Not 4 days ago, One of me and Rats hunting buddies found a Stainless ring with a big old REAL diamond set in it! We thought it was Plat, or white gold on account of the tone and look, but nope..Stainless friggin' Steel!

But, he didnt give up or get overly unwound about it...So on Sunday, we went back out hunting...and he found a gold bridge with the teeth still in it!

Yeah! You can imagine! Knowing our Pal! It was hilarious! I pist myself right there on the beach in my swimsuit! He was over the Moon happy about that one! I had to get a pic of him! The guy is turning out to be quite a waterbaby!...especially since he was so good at old dirt silver and whatnot..he really likes this water hunting for gold! ... A super hunter and entertaining as hell!

I bought my wife one of those Pandora's .. you have some value there.. probably MORE than a Decent Gold Band. Those Pandora's are not cheap.

I got my wife one with two beads when she gave birth to my second child. many, many beads and lots of cash later she has a full bracelet.

I have heard that diamonds are sometimes set in silver. But I bet that it would only be smaller ones. As scuba says: Any diamond smaller than about 1/2 carat, are "worthless". At least insofar as resale is concerned. Of course, some dupe in a jewelry store, is paying top-dollar for that stone. But on the resale market, selling diamonds 1/3 carat and down, will fetch you a pittance.

So if I ever found a diamond set in silver, I'm betting it's either a very small, or very low quality stone. I don't think any self-respecting jeweler puts a super nice and sizable stone, in sterling.

Reminds me of my 1st gold ring I found that was 10k with small diamond chip...
