.just ONE of the reasons I wear a hat outside, also for keeping the sun off my head, and also ticks, dust, pollen, ect.

I was photographing Ospreys on a nesting platform in Canada a couple of years ago. I went to video mode for a few clips and one of the young ospreys lifted its tail and shot one out over the side of the nest, which made for a shiddy video.

I've observed quite a few ospreys down here and they shoot a long distance.
Look out behind you......

Worked with a guy who was a Falconer. One night he brought his Red Tail hawk in and I was wondering why he was taping visqueen on the wall of our office. Lord have mercy! I sure found out.
