That's fantastic, bet that was a painful loss for someone many years ago.
I once found remains of a coin purse but had a few pennies.
Once found 40 clad quarters all in a neat row. Can only think that it was a coin roll whose wrapper deteriorated.

In the photo of the Merc dimes all lined up, is that a 1916 in the middle of the top row? Sure looks like it when I zoom in. Any mint mark on it? Those Mercs all appear to be in nice condition too.

How did I miss this? That's crazy I couldn't imagine seeing all of those silver rims in a hole! Someone had a really bad day a handful of decades back
