Confederate button in the park today

I went back to this school since the underbrush wont let me in my wooded areas. Found about $3.50 in modern clad, another $0.14 in copper pennies, a bucket of junk, and this awwwwwesome "lined" Confederate I button. This makes Confederate button #2 for my collection. It is smushed, but the shank survived. I guess I will be in this park a lot more since I am gathering some old relics.

On in east coast VA can someone go to a school blt in the 1950/60s, and find CW buttons !

It was definitely a shocker....still at zero silver for this park, maybe have to settle for a couple LCs.

Yep, 3 ringers and civil war buttons coming up in a school yard. Almost no chance of anything like that here in Iowa. Great hunt!
