Hey everyone, got out for about 3 hours last night at a new wooded spot, this one has some potential! A buddy also dug a Rosie and an 1897 barber dime...so about 10 wheats into my hunt (thinking statistically, based off of my previous years ratio's) I should have a silver or two by now....well finally that blob of silver, which at one point was a beautiful mercury dime, showed up. Ended the hunt with 14 wheats, 2 silver's, and some cool relics. We hot hit with probably 4" of snow last night, so we will see tonight if its manageable :yes: thanks for looking everyone and happy hunting!

Looks like your merc was in a fire... I was out plowing the 7 inches of snow we got last night until early this morning... I love the money I make but hate the hours I have to keep ;)
 
Golly Jeff, that be a not so pretty Merc that be for sure. But it is down right pretty compared to looking at road plowed snowbanks. Congrats on the Silvers and another very fine outing. Trapper
 
Thanks everyone! I gotta say, after 10+ wheats, any kind pf silver was a wlecomed sight. Went to the same spot last night for a couple hours, the snow made it tough but I managed an injun and a couple wheats. Probably won't get out til next weekend now unfortunately. Happy hunting!

No such thing as an ugly merc . Take that thing to the wire wheel or buffer . Dremmel or what ever just make her shine like a diomond baby !!đź‘Ť
