Possible rare Louisiana pin found and a New York button!!!

Have any of you guys seen or know about this pin???? I found a image of the one I dug. The guy found it in a civil war site but it seems speculation on his part. The New York button was found not far from it.

Hmm I think it's Union VII corps ..not 100% sure I'll look in some books when I get a chance unless someone else does first.

The back pin is not right according to everyone. It doesn’t have the T back
