A Templar's cross? In Southern Texas? Could it be that the Templars traveled even further than Oak Island, deciding that hiding the Ark of the Covenant in a land more similar to Israel would preserve the artifact even better than Oak Island?

Seriously though, that's an awesome find.
 
The Oak Island diaries did mention a Knights Templar of Mexican lineage that went missing and was last seen crossing the Brazos at Waco!!! Ya reckon?? Hmmm
