A buddy who's just beginning the hobby found this about 6 inches deep when we were practicing in the field. It is very light in weight. Any ideas of what it is. The ears appear to maybe be compressible. It registered like a dollar coin on my M6.

It is very light in weight.

Or possibly a spacer for a carburetor on a small 2 stroke engine like a weed eater.

My thought is that in that case it would have to be a 4 stroke because a 2 stroke would have the vacuum holes between the block and carb. This spacer is solid.

It actually looks like a spacer for a nitro tc truck engine, I have 1 similar on mine... anodized aluminum usually.

Where on a truck engine does the spacer go?

Directly below the motor, look up hpi savage x motor spacers or even t-max instead of hpi
