nox 600 vs duel field in depth

Interesting, I’m on the west coast of Florida, our sand is basically quartz in most places and very little black sand or mineralization. Basically only the salt to deal with, from my understanding it makes many detectors have little trouble ie. The orca aquasound was popular but would not work many other areas. Could have a lot to do with my success with the machine but deeper than a pulse? Not in the water.

A pulse will really shine in mineralized soil. The only real depth advantage here in my opinion would be its performance in salt water and perhaps more power to the coil. If you have used a pulse in the gulf then you are familiar with the ramping threshold problem that could cost you depth in certain instances. I have hunted with both and used a pulse exclusively for my first year detecting. I am on the fence about selling my remaining pulse machine, digging iron makes me
