How well does the 10.5" coil pinpoint?

It pinpoints pretty good. Sweet spot is under the tag that has the frequency on it. ---- But I should caution you, it is very heavy for it's size. -----I put mine on backwards, and it helps a little. ----

Pretty good actually, but I hardly ever use the pinpoint function.
I just slowly move the coil's edge to where the target in the ground is, and when I hear the beep, I know it's just under the edge of the coil. Then I repeat this from another angle, and then I know exactly where to dig. When I'm in the sand I don't even bother pinpointing because it's so easy to dig!
