How to clean corroded coppers.

My technique is to soak in white vinegar for 30 minutes. No adding salt, none of that, just plain vinegar. Soak until needed but check every 20-30 minutes or so!
 
Did I hear someone mention coppers?:D Whenever I see this question come up I wish I could cut and paste that post as it's own thread. IDK, maybe I'll put the work in and make a new thread with the info so people can find it easier. Anyway, a little disclaimer I like to give here, the main factor in how a coin comes out after cleaning is determined before you even dig it out of the ground. The vast majority don't come out like the better examples I've shown. All you can do with cleaning is try to make it visually appealing while doing the least amount of damage. Good luck with the cleaning.
