All the research i do for finding older items, I never would of guessed this one! Recently I was moving a sofa for my mother- in- law from her living room to the basement den. It was a heavy sectional and had to be seperated to move. Me and my brother-in-law moved three sections to the basement. I went up to get the middle section. I turned it onto it's side and the cushion fell out. I picked up the cushion to throw it down the steps. I went back to the sofa section and there it was on the floor. A 1936 Walking Liberty Half! No one in the family has any idea where it came from or who lost it there! I have never found one of those metal detecting! But I'll take it, it saved me some digging!!
