Low tide hunt yesterday.
All the beaches were well sanded in, but I did find a spot where there was a nice layer of blue/green mud .. this tends to stop most items from sinking further.
Found a few coins, sinkers and this 1953 shilling.
Got a nice strong signal and after a few hard scoops I had it in a clump of hard clay.I knew there was something there and when I broke it apart all was revealed. A 14ct dress ring, 4.1 grams.

:dingding: Not a big fan of that color of stone but it's a very nice ring!

Luv that fresh-reveal photo sequence. That's the "come to papa" moment

That's a Beauty!

I love the stones, they never look all that great in pictures but in person they look very unique. And honestly I never cared that much for that color until I found one. Something about it.. Amber is another..

Congrats on the Goldy! That clay looks like a beast to work in, and yet it holds all the goods so well!

Nice ring! I get down to that same type of clay like mud here sometimes, have to break it up in the scoop with your hands!
