All U.S. Coins 1807-DATE

Big Master List

Here's a master list taken from Coin Community Forum. But be aware it includes U.S. coins we may never find....like the $4 Stella gold coin. No one knows for sure how many exist. The history of each coin is given at that site. In any event...here it is if anyone is interested. Hope I am not breaking any rules listing this and don't mean to hi-jack anyone's thread.

1909-S Indian Head Coin

Hello, all. Am brand new to any forum, detecting for 3 years with XP Deus and a bit with ETRAC.

Was very happy to find a 1909-S Indian Head. All I did was rinse off the dirt.

Took it to a dealer, and he said the second 9 was worn off and that the wreath was half destroyed and so it was really in bad condition, worth only $75

You can see this isn't really true. Doe anyone have any suggestions on what to do at this point? Don't believe this valuation is correct.

Still, it's a great find: so pleased. Looking forward to sharing with this group.

ALL coin shops need to make money. However some want to make a lot more than others.

Look at what they go for on Fee-Bay and you will get a better picture.

I have had many dealings with a few. Hardly ever sold coins unless I needed the money back in the early 1990's

Yes, of course. Thank all of you for your replies. Look forward to interacting with you. And, in fact, I will keep it for now, it's too cool. You are right, they do bring big money online.

Come to find out my steel 1943 penny ain’t worth much but it’s cool non the less. They made them out of steel because they needed the copper for ammo for the war.

Keep an eye out for the 1943 copper penny. Worth thou$ands, but they only minted a few.
