this picture shows you the chinese know nothing about metal detecting except making cheap knock off clones with a lot of buttons to make it seem impressive.

Here is proof with one of their marketing pictures. Imagine how long it would take to get you escorted off a golf course when security or members find you with a metal detector.

All newbies, read the metal detecting forums and ask questions before you buy chinese knockoffs.

Just like telemarketers and phone scams, the fact that they continue to exist means somebody out there is falling for it or otherwise buying what they're selling.

Photoshop. Pretty badly too. Arms aren’t “in” the arm cuffs. Pretty funny really, like those two coils so close would work out well. Best part is that little girls right fist - where’d her club go!

What scares me about this is all the IDIOTS that will get a machine and head for the local golf course!!!
Sure will make the rest of us look bad!

It looks like they're on a golf course. Now that's funny. We have a golf course here in town that used to be part of the original Fairgrounds in the 1800's. I bet you the police would show up if I was out there with the detector. Just my observation but yes be cautious when purchasing a machine.

I dont like buying things made in China to begin with, I avoid it at all costs but of course its not easy due to decades of bad trade policies and greedy business leaders and politicians.

Uh Oh getting off topic and headed down the Political argument trail........:worms:

:hi5:

I have several old local golf courses I've been able to hunt, just have to stay off the greens.I demonstrated to the managers how I dig a target and one said,"The squirrels do more damage than that.
Buy American

Sure looks like my ACE, but wrong color.

Wonder where a feller can get one of them fancy skit outfits for digging?

Not sure about knock offs but I k.ow there are a boat load of equinoxes hammering the beach night and day. Every unemployed guy from 18-50 is now a professional treasure hunter. Thanks minelab

Ain't that the truth...but on a relatively clean beach , I still clean their clocks....

Under normal circumstances.. I have to agree. But the beach is literally swarmed like ants on a potato chip.
And they aren't afraid of getting close.. during fresh droop season every square inch of the beach gets hit at least once. At a minimum
