Got out to an old park I have been to once before. Pretty sure this park has been hunted at least a couple times, had a guy stop me when i was there the 1st time and saw i had a nox, he said he had an etrac and was on his way to a permission. I hunted an area there used to be an old ball field, very few targets in that area, but while making my way over there, i get a good signal and dig my first barber dime! Pretty slick but ill take 100+ year old coins all day, 1911 D. Also found this little metal baby photo, very heavy for the size, not magnetic, could it be gold? Idk, it is not super difficult to bend, probably junk but i will go ahead and get some sort of gold tester kit. Super stoked about the barber dime! Thanks for looking.

How mineralized is the ground you're detecting and what kind of detector do you use? I have a Whites MXT All Pro with a 10" DD coil and I can barely locate dimes down to about 5". The ground here is highly mineralized (about 75) and I guess it really affects depth.
