Back to the old swim hole I went after work. I got in to a very trashy pocket of iron sounding signals. Every once in a while I would notice a tone change to a mid or high tone but still with a tone of iron. I decided to try and clear the signals out regardless because of the success at this spot and figured only good things could come of it... well they did!

I would be digging most everything in that spot. In the old swimming hole I have hunted for the past 4 summers I have dug silver coins in the same scoop with nails You have a great spot to hunt that will produce for a while to come. Congrats!
 
Congratulations on some really cool finds. That silver ring with the black (?) stone looks vintage. I agree with others that this location is going to produce some sweet finds for you for a good deal of time to come. Best of luck there and wherever you hunt.
 
nice hunt,,I like that silver onyx,,It is an older style,,I found a cool one of those a couple weeks ago and the wife loves it,,,
 
Thanks everyone! I will continue to dig this spot until there are no sounds at all... hoping this pond gets drained or we hit a really big drought (unlikely) so I can really get down the drop off.

On a side note I had a dream last night that I was hunting with Chicago Ron and Mark because I was at their skill level... lol keep dreaming Ace! :lol:
