Found my first largie! Need cleaning advice

Well I never thought I would say this but I found a pretty toasted large cent in the woods. I can make our the shape of the head and barely see the wheat on the back. I have spent a fair amount of time toothpikkin and dry brushing. It seems there is some gunk on there I can not budge. Has anyone electrolysized a largie? Would it do more harm than good?
Any advice is appreciated!

You gota gold this puppy just right in the light to see any detail. Not sure about the year yet, kinda looks like 1842.

Definitely try the advice on the you tube. Wish I would have seen that awhile ago. I ruined several largies by washing with soup and water. No more!
