Bucket list coin found today

I got out to a house one of my cousins bought a few weeks back. The house was built in 1944 and had a very small front yard and the back was in unhuntable due to a dog. The finds were slim but I managed to find my first ever 1971 Ike dollar coin and two wheaties, a rolled 1959 memorial penny and a tootsie toy truck. Ty for looking and HH!

I think Ike’s are one of the hardest to come by for whatever reason,you just don’t ever see them come up on the forums. It’s hilarious how big the older dollar coins were,it’s just about obscene!
Nice chunker and other finds Coin. Were presently getting a snowstorm here so at least I can live through the experiences of others for awhile...:grin:

Nice haul CW! I was fortunate enough to dig a couple ikes a few feet apart a couple years ago, but your right they hardly ever show up. Congrats!
 
Congrats on the Big Ike! I found two 71's side by side, I almost didn't dig because the signal was screaming big trash!

Congrats on a rare find !

As others have already said - you hardly ever see Ike's posted.
I'd say I only see 3 or 4 a year total getting posted on the three forums I'm active in.
