I love my equinox 600 but I am really wanting a machine I can get into a little diving with. My buddy and myself were discussing options and since I've used minelab equipment quite a bit I was considering the excalibur II, but this machine is fairly old now and I've called around but the dealers are not budging on the 1600$ price tag.
I would also probably need a different shaft than the one it comes with so I suppose that would change the price to about 1800$$
So since I have equipment already I have a few options.
1.) save $$ and wait for a possible excal III release
2.) buy a deus II (though it looks nice and goes deep, for diving would this be appropriate?)
3.) buy the excal II
