WWII Button

Found at a nearby farmstead. The 1906 map shows that there was a house there at that time. I was really excited because I thought it was a Civil War button. Didn't take long to realize it was from WWII which is still a good find for me. Says Newark NJ on the reverse. Can't make out which company made it and a little research shows several companies made these buttons and other like it.

I dont know of any button company in NJ

Art Metal Works is one, RL Mfg is another,
American Button Company is another I found by searching for WWII button Newark

I can read Newark on the back of my find but not much else.

Thanks. It's a keeper for me. I remember who lived at this site when I was a kid and looked up his obituary and found a picture of him wearing his WWII coat which would have had this button on it.

To me that makes the button much more valuable. Print out the picture to display with the button.
